- Born in 1940 in Thu Dau Mot
- In 1964, graduated from Saigon National College of Fine Arts.
- Member of the Young Artists Association in Saigon before 1975.
- Member of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.
- He is one of the artists who created a new style of lacquer painting that he called "Vietnamese Son Ta".
- He has participated in many group exhibitions and solo exhibitions domestically and internationally. His works are owned by many museums, famous collectors at domestically and internationally.
Awards:
- 1960: Silver medal in the Fine Arts competition organized by ESSO.
- 1990: Second prize in the National Fine Arts Competition.
- 1996: Second prize in the "Asian - Vietnam International Modern Art" contest in Saigon.

- 1963 - 1974: Participated in annual exhibitions organized by the Young Artists Association.
- 1972: First solo exhibition at Alliance Francaise Saigon.
- 1990: Participated in the National Fine Arts Exhibition.
- 1992: Asian Master Gallery Bhd exhibition; “Art & Materials'92” at the National Museum of Fine Arts Singapore.
- 1993: Participated in the exhibition "New Space" with Vietnamese and Singaporean artists
- 1994: Participated in exhibitions: at Le Space Jacques Prevert France; French Dunkerque City Hall; French Bellin Gallery; “Asian-Vietnam International Modern Art” Saigon.
- 1996: Exhibition at Fujita Vente Museum, Japan.
- 2000: Participated in an exhibition organized by the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Golden Colorado; Oakland Asian Cultural Center; California, USA.
- 2001: Vietnam - Japan Fine Arts Exhibition at Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum.
- 2002: Participated in the exhibition "EPIC" at Gajah gallery, Singapore.
- 2005: Group exhibition at Vanessa Link gallery, Jakarta, Indonesia.
- 2006: Group exhibition at Brigitte gallery, USA.
- 2009: Group exhibition with artists: Le Thanh, Trinh Thanh Tung, La Hon, Do Duy Tuan at Phuong Mai Gallery.
- 2021: Exhibition "Spring" with artist Dang Kim Long at Binh Minh Art Gallery.
- 2024: Group exhibition "Du Xuan" with 12 artists at Binh Minh Art Gallery.
