- 1974: Graduated from Saigon College of Fine Arts.

- 1978: Graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts

- Member of Vietnam Fine Arts Association

- He was Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum and has been associated with the museum for 22 years.

- He participated in many solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. His works are kept at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts Museum and many private collections at home and abroad.

- 1992: Gold Medal of Saigon Tourist Painting Award

- 1996: Asian Fine Arts Award in Vietnam sponsored by Phillips Morris Foundation

- Regional Fine Arts Exhibition Award VI, Vietnam Fine Arts Association: C prize (2000); A prize (2002); Award (2008)
