Artist Nguyen Si Thiet
- Born in 1943 in Son Tay (now Hanoi), passed away in 2021.
- 1963: Graduated from Vietnam Fine Arts Intermediate School.
- 1964: Working at the Department of Culture of Lang Son province.
- 1972: Graduated from Vietnam University of Fine Arts.
- 1973: Member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.
- 1973-1976: Lecturer at the Central College of Music and Fine Art Education.
- 1977-1984: Lecturer at the University of Industrial Fine Arts.
- From 1985, he moved to Ho Chi Minh City to work at Ministry of Industry of the South region and lecture at Saigon University, Hong Bang International University.
- In addition to painting and modeling industrial products, he also wrote poetry, books, newspapers, etc.
- He composed paintings on many different themes from daily life to labor, production, propaganda and war, especially historical paintings about Uncle Ho and the leaders of the Party and State; …
- In 1959, being only 16 years old, his artworks were selected for an international children's painting exhibition in India as well as an exhibition in Germany to gift to German children.
- His works are preserved in many domestic and foreign collections.
