- Born in 1941 in Phnom Penh (Cambodia).
- During his youth, he lived with his family in Saigon and Hai Phong.
- 1959 - 1964: Studied and graduated from College of Fine Arts and Cinema, course I.
- Was one of the first three artists to build the film design foundation of Vietnamese feature film studio.
- He is a design artist for more than 40 films, many of which have become classics of Vietnamese cinema: O Tham Forest, 17th Parallel Days and Nights, Saint's Day, Return to Sam Sao, Rangers Saigon, Bandit Hunting...
- In his creative career, he mainly pursues landscape and portrait themes with many materials: oil paint, lacquer, silk, water color...
- He has participated in many Group exhibitions, solo exhibitions domestically and abroad. His works are owned by many famous domestic and foreign collectors.
- He died in 2020 in Hai Phong.
